The method involves selecting a rotor (11) from a set of rotors under specific operating conditions and mounting a turbine (10), where the set consisting two rotor units (2) of the same sizes is selected from the set consisting of sets of rotor units of different sizes. The rotor units of the selected set are mounted on a casing (31). The turbine has a gearbox between a rotor shaft and a generator shaft of a generator, where the gearbox is selected from a set of gearsboxes.
