High-strength alloy wire with low thermal expansion and improved torsional properties, the coated with aluminum, or is coated with zinc,the alloy wire comprises (in% by.-%):Carbon: 0,1% to 0,4%Vanadium: more than 0,5% to 3,0%, as well asNickel: 25% to 50%,under the condition that the requirement, represented by the formula 2 ≦ vanadium / carbon ≦ 9, is fulfilled,with the balance being iron and inevitable impurities,the alloy wire a tensile strength of not less than 1300 mpa, and a torsional value of not less than 20 times / 100d, wherein d represents the final wire diameter.
