Lancet device has housing in which lancet is movable in puncturing way and lancet drive (9) with drive spring which is driven by drive rotor (12) and lancet coupling mechanism for converting rotating motion of drive rotor into puncturing and return motion of lancet. Reference element coupling mechanism (38) with lancet drive moves reference element (14) and cam (33) is driven by cam rider (34). An independent claim is also included for lancet drive building group for lancet device.
