Apparatus for the production of vinyl chloride, which comprises:a pyrolysis reactor, in the 1,2 - dichloroethane and inert solid particles are mixed, in order to produce hydrochloric acid, vinyl chloride and,a first separator, the vinyl chloride, the hydrochloric acid and the inert solid particles from the pyrolysis reactor and the vinyl chloride and the hydrochloric acid of the inert solid particles is separated off, anda regeneration reactor, which the separated inert solid particles from the first separator and the inert solid particles by burning of the inert solid particles in the case of a high temperature regenerated, in order to the inert solid particles to remove the deposited coke,the regeneration reactor is connected to the pyrolysis reactor, so that the regenerated inert solid particles to be attributed to the pyrolysis reactor.
