Route switching system for an under water drag cable ferry with selectable goal, wherein the intersecting travel path, which crosses the switch, through the gap between the incoming path of travel and the outgoing tracks is guided such that a carriage that moves along the intersecting travel path can move without passing through the incoming or outgoing routes to be blocked.
