The diffusion gradient and thus the mr - images (31) are sorted in such a way that, after the sorting a predetermined number of the diffusion gradient in each case forms a group. Each diffusion gradient belongs to at least one of these groups, wherein the diffusion gradient of the same group as far as possible are linearly independent of one another alternately. The mr - images (31), whose diffusion gradient form a group, are added to a mr - image (32) are combined. Local transformations between these mr - result images (32) are determined and on the basis of this local transformations are - the mr images (31) modified.
