The housing (10) has a housing base part (12) for partially receiving an exchange element e.g. battery. A removable lid (13) is connected with the housing base part over a connector (14) in a closed state (I) of the housing. A bridge element is provided at the housing base part, and the connector is mechanically connected with the bridge element in the closed state of the housing. A seal element e.g. shaft seal, is provided between the lid and the connector. The lid is rotationally symmetrical with respect to a longitudinal axis of the connector. The connector is designed as a bayonet lock, a screw connector or a detent closure. An independent claim is also included for a mobile device.
