The arrangement has a sensor housing provided with a housing part (2) rotatably mounted to another housing part (1). A flange section (4) of the former housing part is inserted in a flange retainer cavity (5) of the latter housing part. The housing parts are axially bound together by a positive locking engagement element cooperating with recesses in an inner wall of the cavity and an outer wall of the flange section. The recesses are formed as annular grooves (6, 7), and the engagement element is formed as a ring (9) lying close to wall portions of the grooves in a force-fitting manner.
