Sanitary unit comprises a base body (1) made of a metal, preferably steel, which is provided with an enamel layer. The enamel layer of base body side comprises base layer of a base enamel (2), on which a coating layer of a cover enamel (3) is applied, where the enamel layer is provided with the sanitary tub exhibiting an impact resistance of at least 35 N. An independent claim is also included for obtaining the above mentioned sanitary device, comprising (i) applying a base slurry to the base body of the sanitary unit, (ii) applying a cover slurry on the base slurry, where the cover slurry include the reinforcing agent (5-35 wt.%), and (iii) drying and heating or burning of the base body coated with the base slurry and the cover slurry, where the base enamel of the base layer from the base slurry and the cover enamel of the cover layer form the cover slurry are obtained by heating.
