Determining parameter specifications, in process for manufacturing machine product, comprises performing automatic validity checking of first process submodel, and automatically determining parameter specifications to achieve target sizes
The method comprises: performing automatic validity checking (2) of a first process submodel, which mathematically represents an accepted relationship between parameter specifications from a subset of an adjustment quantity and a target size from a subset of a property amount; and automatically determining (4) the parameter specifications to achieve the predetermined target sizes using the first process submodel, performing the manufacturing process with the determined specifications, determining the properties of the manufactured product and automatically checking the determined properties. The method comprises: automatic validity checking (2) of a first process submodel, which mathematically represents an accepted relationship between parameter specifications from a subset of an adjustment quantity and a target size from a subset of a property amount; automatically determining (4) the parameter specifications to achieve the predetermined target sizes using the first process submodel, performing the manufacturing process with the determined parameter specifications, determining the properties of the manufactured product and automatically checking the determined properties whether the target size is reached, if the validity criterion is fulfilled; creating an experimental design with sets of parameter specifications to determine measured variables and producing a second process submodel using the determined properties if the target size is not achieved automatically in a process model expansion step (7). The experimental design is determined under consideration of a first process submodel. The manufacturing process is carried out with the sets of parameter specifications. The second process submodel is considered instead of the first process submodel. In the process model expansion step, the experimental design is created for an extension subset (8) of the adjustment quantity. The extension subset is determined using the first process submodel. The predetermined target size is depicted by the first process submodel and/or the second process submodel on the parameter specifications.
