The bath tub has an inner wall (1) bounding a tub interior, and an outer wall (3), where a cavity is formed between the inner wall and the outer wall. A handshower (6) and a tap (6') are arranged between a bottom (5) and an upper rim (2) of the tub. A water supply pipe (7) extends from the bottom of the tub through the cavity to an opening of the outer wall, where the handshower and the tap are supported in a region around the opening. The outer wall is made from one of metal sheet, sanitary acrylic, mineral casting or ceramic.
