The fixing device has holders (3) provided with a retainer, in which a luggage stop bracket (2) is fixed with its free ends (5). The holders are arranged in a stiffened cross-beam (4) in form-fit manner. The holders have a T-shaped guide web, which is held in a corresponding dovetail guide of the cross-beam. The T-shaped guide web of the holder is fixed by lateral embossments (V) of the cross-beam in the region of the dovetail guides. The luggage stop bracket, holder and cross-beam are made of aluminum extrusions.
