The module has a tempering body (10) comprising two fluid port openings (28). An outer surface of a wall plate (12) is provided in thermal contact with an energy storage cell of an energy storage device, and outer surface of another wall plate (14) is formed opposite to the former outer surface. A meander-shaped channel is formed between the outer surfaces of the wall plates, and interconnects the openings for guiding a heat carrier medium to the openings. The openings are formed at two outer surfaces of the wall plates. A channel plate (16) is arranged between the wall plates. The heat carrier medium is fluid, gas i.e. air, or liquid i.e. water, and the energy storage cell is in rectangular, prismatic, coffee bag and cylindrical shape. An independent claim is also included for an energy storage device.
