The bag (2) has a thread (4) for connecting a suspension device (6) to the bag for hanging the bag in a brewing container. The suspension device comprises a set of flanks (8) extending in three or more directions around the thread, and includes a triangular or trapezoidal section (10) on a beveled edge facing the respective thread. The section is adapted to engage on an edge of the brewing container. The flanks are connected with each other along a line. The suspension device is formed of paper or cardboard.
