The lamp device has lens element (1) which directs light emitted from the LEDs. The lens element is made of optically transparent material whose refractive index is greater than air. The lens element is provided with light entrance surface (4) and light exit surface (5) such that the light emitted from LEDs are passed to light entrance surface, and to light exit surface through lens element. The light exit surface is provided with corrugated structure such that wave crest (6) having elongated crest, and trough (7) having elongated trough are lined-up alternately.
