Commercial vehicle pneumatic tire in radial type comprises a multilayer belt (2), a radial ply carcass (3), side walls (5) and a profiled tread (1) from a rubber mixture (6) with circumferential grooves, where: the tire exhibits an under tread, as an interval between radial external belt breaker ply and the base of the circumferential grooves, of less than 4 mm; and the rubber mixture is based on 20-100 parts per hundred rubber (phr) of a reclaimed rubber composition.
