The odor trap (1) has a curved or cone-shaped closing unit (20) movably mounted inside waste water drain unit (10) for closing a flow opening (80) of drain unit. The closing unit is surrounded by a sealing ring (50), in a state partially exposing a release position in movably closed position. The magnets (30,40) are arranged at projections (12,12') of drain unit. A closing unit outer surface (25) is located partially in sealing ring, so that liquid or waste water is flowed through flow opening (22) of closing unit, when the closing unit is in release position.
