The method involves treating an authentication stamp blank (5) for adjusting a preset joining structure in a region, which forms a casting surface of an authentication blank. A shaping step is performed for introducing plastic deformation as a marking (3) in the joining structure in the region of the blank. The joining structure of a surface (4), which forms the casting surface, of the blank is etched. A plastic part is primary shaped in a primary shaping tool with the authentication blank, where the casting surface is a part of a mold surface of the tool. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an authentication stamp (2) a plastic part.
