The gauge (1) has a handgrip (4) comprising two ends at which two probe heads (3, 5) are arranged, respectively. The first probe head comprises a probe shaft (2) with marks for linear measurement related to a free end of the probe shaft. The second probe head has a first scale for measuring distance of two adjacent teeth and/or implants in a region of a tooth space. A second scale is attached to the first scale for determination of implant diameter that corresponds to the distance. A plate-like probe tip (6) is formed at a free end of the first probe head. An independent claim is also included for a peri-implant kit or system.
