Multi-head device for testing material thickness or profile gradients of moving object, has measurement and evaluation unit for detecting thickness of material by optical coherence tomography-process
The multi-head device (1) has measurement and evaluation unit (30) for detecting the thickness of a material (34) by an optical coherence tomography-process. Two material thickness measuring heads (9,10) are aligned with a measurement beam (13) on an object (6). The measuring heads are arranged with respect to the motion of the object, where the measuring heads are arranged spatially displaced with respect to stationary object. The measurement and evaluation unit comprises a polychromatic light source (7), a spectrometer (8) and one fiber optic x-coupler (15).
