The assembly (1) has a heating cartridge (14) comprising an electrical contacted positive temperature co-efficient (PTC) heating element (16) inserted into a profile body (18) and electrical insulated relative to the profile body. The heating cartridge is inserted into a cylindrical sleeve (2). A coupling layer is arranged in a circumference gap (28) between a sleeve circumference wall and a heating cartridge external periphery wall for thermal and/or mechanical coupling. The heating element is formed of polyimide film. The coupling layer serves as a casting mass and a coating of the sleeve and/or the heating cartridge. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a heating assembly.
