The device has a storage chamber (10) whose internal volume is filled with a liquid i.e. brake fluid. A cam-shaped part (34) i.e. cam, a connecting rod-shaped part i.e. connecting rod, and a pushrod-shaped part are rotated around a rotational axis (30) during operation of an electric motor (28) such that a longitudinal extent (a1) of the parts is variable along an adjusting axis (18), where the rotational axis is inclined to the adjusting axis. A piston shaped part (14) i.e. displacing piston, is adjustable along the adjusting axis, where a size of the volume is variable by the piston part. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a motorized liquid storage device.
