The electric machine has an air gap which is formed between the stator and rotor. The rotor is mechanically coupled with a shaft (9). A supporting structure is provided with a magnet unit (4). The magnet unit is provided with a permanent magnet (5) and a magnetic flux-guiding element (6). The power of permanent-magnet dynamo-electric machine is set larger than 1MW.
