The apparatus has an air control element (3) arranged within an air duct (2) for changing a passage area surface of the air duct with a movable air closure (5), so that the air duct is opened in an open position of the air closure and closed in a closing position of the air closure. The air control element has another air closure (7) and air openings closed and opened by the latter air closure, so that the passage area surface is changed with the latter air closure. The air control element is designed as a choke (4) with flap axles (10, 11). The air closures are designed as a roller blind or a screen and a flap part.
