The vehicle has a vehicle inner space comprising seats for passengers and thermostated through heating and/or cooling systems located in the vehicle according to requirements of the passengers. A part of the heating and/or cooling systems is decentrally arranged in proximity of seat portions assigned to an individual passenger and controlled based on occupancy of the seats. The seat occupancy is automatically detected by pressure sensors, inner space cameras or infrared sensors. Heating radiators are provided as decentralized heating systems and attached to the seat portions of the passenger. An independent claim is also included for a method for heating or cooling an inner space of a vehicle.
