The method involves allowing full contact of piezoelectric plates (18, 20) with a surface element (14) for producing of an actuator structure, which is bent, such that the piezoelectric plates are connected with the surface element. The surface element and piezoelectric plates are shear-stress freely trapped between two bendable mounting plates (36, 38), where the surface element is trapped by an outer edge region (44) in contact with spacers (42, 46) that are arranged at the mounting plates. A molding tool (50) is utilized with a curved molding surface (52). An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing multilayer actuator.
