The component (1) has an outer cylindrical casing (2) made from weldable material i.e. metallic material, and a valve insert (3) arranged in the casing. The valve insert is made from ceramic material, and comprises a valve seat (30), where the component is manufactured as a two component-power injection molding component. The valve insert completely covers an inner casing surface (2a) of the casing in an axial direction (X-X). The casing is made from steel, and a blowhole disk (33) made from ceramic material is arranged at a cylindrical aperture (31) formed in the valve insert. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a single-piece valve component.
