The stemming beater device has a beater (12a) and a striker (14a), where a damping element (16a) is provided to damp a B-strike. The damping element is arranged at the striker in a movable manner. A control disk stands in operative connection with the striker by an adjustment of a neutral position (20a) into a strike position (22a). A sleeve fixes the damping element on the striker. The striker is guided in two different guide elements.
