The device (1) has an accommodation unit (2) for accommodating a test body i.e. solar module (10), and a vessel (4) for accommodating fluid (5) and comprising a base (6) made of a flexible material and a side wall (8). A rigid housing (9) accommodates the vessel and comprises a base opening. Size and shape of the base opening correspond to size and shape of a surface (11) of the test body, so that the surface of the test body is pressurized with constant pressure during filling of the vessel with the fluid. The test body is arranged in the base opening. An independent claim is also included for a method for performing pressure load testing of a test body.
