The cage device has several rolling element guide portions (6) that are located along a circumferential direction of a ring portion (5). A separation bar (7) is arranged such that the guide portion limiting bar walls are formed as concave surfaces (7a,7b). A recess (8) is provided between the concave surfaces of the separation bar. A spacer (9) made of plastic material is arranged inside the recess. A cage main portion is made of brass or bronze. An independent claim is included for a rolling bearing.
