The method involves detecting the first three-dimensional (3D) volume image of object at preset time, detecting the second or following 3D volume image of object at a subsequent time, and storing both images. A determination process is carried out to check whether the end of investigation has been reached. If not, the detection of second image is carried out, or else the first image is subtracted from second image, for generation of 3D subtraction image. The time coded overlay of 3D subtraction image is carried out, and an overlapped time encoded 3D subtraction image is produced.
