The cover (3) has two fluid-tight parts (1, 2), where one of the fluid-tight parts is locked with a windscreen (4) of a motor car. The fluid-tight parts are partially overlapped with each other and arranged in an overlapping region (11). The overlapping region is formed over width of the other fluid-tight part, where the width is measured in a motor car transverse direction. Magnets (8, 9) interlock the former fluid-tight part at the latter fluid-tight part, where the fluid-tight parts are made of plastic material. The fluid-tight parts are partially engaged with each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a lower windscreen panel cover.
