The cold gas generator (3) has a pressure tank (10) filled with compressed gas (5). An end region of the pressure tank is provided with a closure element (20) having a mechanical connection element (20.1), an electrical contact element (22), a fluid port (24) and an inlet/outlet valve (26). A main portion is connected with a filling-up device through the closure element. A pressure sensor (28) is set to determine the current gas pressure in the pressure tank and to provide electrical signal representing the current gas pressure at the electrical contact element. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a compressed gas filling arrangement for cold gas generator; and (2) a method for filling compressed gas in cold gas generator.
