The electromechanical drive device has electric motors (EM1,EM2) that are equipped with rotor elements which are rotated about motor axes (X1,X2). The electric motors are arranged and aligned in parallel to each other with respect to motor axles. The transmissions (PLT1 'PLT2') are provided for coupling the electric motors to a differential axle (SRD). A common switching device (A1) is arranged in intermediate region between the electric motor and transmission for switching the transmissions.
