Attaching a first workpiece (1) to a second workpiece (2) by an adhesive bonding, where one of the two workpieces exhibits a rough surface, comprises (a) applying an activator (3) on the two workpieces in the region (5) of the adhesive bonding, (b) applying an adhesive (4), preferably a reactive adhesive on the activator in the region of the adhesive bonding of the first workpiece, (c) heating the second workpiece at least in the partial region of the adhesive bonding to greater than 50[deg] C, and (d) joining together the two workpieces.
