The method involves providing a fluoroscopy image from an object and a multi-dimensional reference image recorded by the object. The fluoroscopy image is registered with the reference image, and the images are superimposed. A portion of texture of the superimposed image is adjusted such that an optical three-dimensional representation is provided for a viewer. The texture is designed transparent such that visibility of the object is maintained for the viewer. A parameter for adjusting the texture is represented by texture density, size or orientation of the texture. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for texture adaptation in medical image (2) a computer program product for a device for texture adaptation in medical image.
