An inner portion (1) is surrounded by an outer sleeve (4). Several elastomeric bearing elements (3) are arranged between the inner portion and the outer sleeve. The bearing element is adhered to inner portion and outer sleeve in a vulcanization process. The bias of the elastomeric bearing element is produced by using a hollow cylindrical element having an opening formed in the axial extension direction of waist (2) as inner portion, and by transferring the hollow cylindrical element into cylindrical shape in the vulcanizing process by expanding the waisted portion. An independent claim is included for prestressed elastomeric bush bearing.
