The measuring arrangement has a receiving space for receiving the liquid. A transmitter converts an electrical signal into sound waves and emits sound waves in a predetermined direction. A deflection device (30) has an interface (38) for reflecting and deflecting the sound waves. A receiver receives the sound waves and converts sound waves into electrical signal after passing through a measuring path. The interface is formed on prism shaped element (32) in which the sound waves are propagated and impinged.
