The connector (10) has an electrically-conducting housing (12) with a housing recess (14), and a carrier element (16) partially arranged in the recess and comprising a longitudinal recess (17) for accommodating a contact element (18). A coupling element (20) i.e. helical spring, is arranged in the housing recess for establishing an electrical connection between the housing and the contact element. The carrier element has a transverse recess (22) extending transverse to a longitudinal axis (L). The coupling element is partially arranged in the transverse recess and designed in a ring-shape.
