The labyrinth seal has multiple arc-shaped labyrinth seal segments with adjacent curved labyrinth seal segments (14). The curved segments have opposing ends with planar surfaces, and are oriented radially and axially. The segments are inclined at an inclination angle corresponding to an axial orientation. Multiple curved brush seal segments (16) are accommodated in multiple curved labyrinth seal segments. Each curved brush seal segment has a curved bristle-holder (18) comprising multiple bristles.
