The connector set (1) has an unlocking unit (10) for displacement of a locking lug (6) of a plug connector (2) from a locking position to an unlocking position. A plate (5) is provided at a plug connector (4) adjacent to the locking lug. The plug connectors are compatible with each other and fitted together in assembled state to provide an electrically conductive connection between contact elements (3) of the plug connectors. The unlocking unit with an unlocking portion (12) is partially movable relative to the plate for engaging the locking lug.
