The method involves defining a number and arrangement of reproducing units (3) for presentation to be reproduced, and representing members of an ensemble and presentation contribution of the ensemble members. Audio and video recording is created by the ensemble members and the presentation contribution. The reproducing units are spatially positioned and provided with functionalities to allow users (4, 4', 4'') to allocate, mimic and/or replace selected ensemble members by selecting a position in a room and/or attention direction and/or by setting playback parameters of the reproducing units. The recording contains information about objects such as musical instruments, used by the ensemble members. An independent claim is also included for a device for reproduction of presentation of an ensemble.
