The attachment has a holder assembly (28) for connecting a prop (20) of a prop device (22) with a structural element (24) of a casing (26) of a motor vehicle. The assembly comprises a flexible decoupling element (30), which is shifted to connect the prop at the structural element, where accident forces up to a level of limited force of the decoupling element are introducible into the structural element through the decoupling element. The accident forces exceeding a level of limited force of the decoupling element are introduced into the structural element through a supporting device (36).
