The instrument has a clamping jaw (2) firmly attached at a front handle (5) of the instrument. Another clamping jaw (1) is movably attached at a lower end of the instrument by a lever mechanism (6) and a fastener (9) of the clamping jaws. The lever mechanism is mounted at the front handle in a resilient manner. A screw thread is provided in the front handle of the instrument. A module mechanism with spinal column rod insertion elements (8) is movably connected with a rear handle (7) of the instrument by the thread. The front handle is attached at a distal end of a movable jaw.
