The frame (10-1) has an upper transverse profile rail (25) comprising an outer edge profile (203) arranged at base bodies (25-2, 220), which comprise a support surface (211) for supporting the profile rail on a lower transverse profile rail (28) of another frame (10-2). A connection profile (221) is arranged at the base body at a high plane (H1) in a side facing the outer edge profile. The connection profile has a recess (230) to retain a connecting web for the lower transverse profile rail. A recess aperture (231) points toward a surface (205) of the outer edge profile.
