The method involves assigning a point to player-controlled selectable functional elements e.g. risk ladder, playing feature, high/low feature, gain lines, jackpot point and bonus feature, where the point is incremented by a central control unit during utilization at run of play. Point state is stored in a memory. Frequency of utilization of the activated functional element is displayed through a display by the control unit according to a memory state of the memory. Winning frequency and/or paying rates are stored in another memory by the control unit during a period of the elements.
