The device i.e. windscreen wiper (10), has a locking element i.e. slider (18), arranged on a wiper arm (12), and a wiping leaf (14) arranged at the wiper arm by an attachment element. Air guiding elements i.e. spoilers (20, 26), press the wiping leaf at the wiper arm against a pane i.e. windscreen, of a vehicle during driving the vehicle and is arranged at the locking element, where length of the air guiding elements is smaller than length of the wiping leaf. The locking element is displaced from an assembly position to a functional position in a longitudinal direction of a wiper arm rod (16).
