The visualization unit (1) has a measuring instrument (2) which is spatially resolved for generating measurement result from an object (3) arranged in a non-visible spectral region and projected in visible spectrum with a projector (5). A distance measuring device (8) is arranged to measure the distance (9) with respect to the object, and an image processing unit (4) is arranged to evaluate the measurement result and/or the modified image of object, using the output signal of distance measuring device. The modified image is contacted with the object. An independent claim is included for a visualization method of visualization unit.
