The machine performs combustion of fuel with pure oxygen using a stoichiometric reaction such that decompressed energy produced during the combustion process is utilized for producing mechanical energy, where the fuel and the pure oxygen are supplied in a gaseous or liquid state. A storage vessel is filled with a combustion product, and a shut-off valve is continuously operated to separate the filled combustion product from the storage vessel. The combustion product is continuously withdrawn under a liquid surface i.e. water surface, in the storage vessel.
