The tank (1) has electrical heating elements (3) provided in respective chambers (2). Each chamber is flow-technically coupled with a removal point (6). A reducing agent line (5) is led from each chamber to the removal point. The heating elements are activated and regulated by a control device based on a temperature and/or a filling level in the associated chambers. The reducing agent line is subdivided into separately heatable sections. A thermal insulator is provided between the chambers. The control device activates heating of the reducing agent line during freezing hazard.
